About SpamDisappears.comSpamDisappears was programmed to deliver a simple way to encrypt web site email links and block spam. The fact is that millions of web sites are making the basic mistake of publishing basic email links that can be easily harvested by spam robot crawlers.
I've seen the results of this problem firsthand, when my wife was inundated with spam as a result of the local school's network administrator publishing the Parent Teacher Association members' emails as naked links. These emails were forwarded to the board member's personal email. Unfortunately, they had been on the site for a while and had clearly been harvested and distributed to professional spammers. Fortunately, using the simple anti spam blocking tools available for free at SpamDisappears.com can massively reduce incidents of spam like the one above. Why Free?I suppose I could package this up as a stand-alone software package and sell it. The benefit is certainly worth money to those whose inboxes are stuffed with spam. But it really doesn't cost much to run the site and it didn't cost much to have the tool programmed - or to record the videos. Besides, even if I just charged one dollar, that would keep a lot of people from buying and using it, which makes the spammers happy. I'd rather have it free and used by everyone. If you do use and appreciate this site, maybe you could do me a favor and bookmark it or tell others you know it could help. Is This Site Spam? ![]() No, but I can see why someone might think so. My name is Jeff Mulligan and my company is HighTechMarketing.com LLC. I've been a member of the Better Business Bureau since 2005. If you click the BBB logo you'll see for yourself. (It would be foolish of me to risk my good standing in BBB on a free site like this.) I originally built the technology to use myself, and then decided to make it freely available. I do not collect the email addresses entered into the tool. I do collect email addresses entered into the form for the filter video and infrequently send information and resources of interest to webmasters. But that's optional and you can always opt out if you desire.
